City Centre Harvest Full Moon Procession

The Harvest Full Moon Project brings the community together to give thanks during the harvest season through traditions, rituals and the arts. Join us on Saturday, September 22 for an outdoor evening procession through Minoru Park with community made willow lanterns and Lion Dancers. Meet at the green space by the Lawn Bowling Centre at 7:30pm to walk in the procession.

Before the procession, guests are invited to attend a reception on the same evening at City Centre Community Centre (5900 Minoru Blvd). From 5:30 – 7:00pm, enjoy live music, art stations, moon cakes and tea.

The Harvest Full Moon Procession and reception are free, drop-in events, and all are welcome.

WORKSHOPS
In addition, a variety of community workshops by local artist Marina Szijarto are offered in preparation for the Celebration. All workshops are held at City Centre Community Centre.
