Volunteer Tax Clinics

Tax clinics are a service provided by the City Centre Community Association in partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency to assist individuals in filing income tax returns. This is a free service offered to individuals who meet the Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.

All City Centre Community Association tax clinic volunteers have been trained through the Canada Revenue Agency Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. Volunteers are carefully screened and have prior experience filing income tax returns.

Tax Clinics will run March 4 – April 17, 2018 at City Centre Community Centre (5900 Minoru Blvd). Call 604-204-8588 to confirm your eligibility and to make an appointment.

Eligibility Guidelines
Current income is no more than the following:

  • For Single    $30,000
  • For Couple   $40,000

 Do not have investment income exceeding $1000.00

 Tax return does not include any of the following:

  • Statement of business
  • Rental income
  • Self-employment
  • Returns for deceased persons
  • Bankrupt individuals
