Homework Club Volunteers

Homework Club is sponsored by Coast Capital Savings Credit Union.

Interested in working with children and wondering what it takes to make a huge difference in someone else’s life?

During the school year, City Centre Homework Club is looking for high school youth volunteers who are ready to be a positive mentor to students from General Currie, Anderson, and Cook Elementary Schools.

Homework Club is an after-school program that runs until 6:00pm where high school volunteers help elementary students  (Grades 4-7) with their homework while still making time for play. No experience necessary. Training is provided. Volunteers must complete a free Police Information Check.

To sign up, please contact Usman at umushtaq@richmond.ca or by selecting the opportunity on our ICanHelp volunteer opportunity page.

Please note: intake for Homework Club volunteers takes place each year in September. Volunteers will be accepted throughout the school year if space is available.
